Gūwalgiya was a distinguished clan in the Manchu history ,and Suwan Gūwalgiya was particularly notable.However,Fiongdon’s family,which belonged to Suwan Gūwalgiya,was the most prominent.According to related genealogies ,biographies ,the Memoir of Qing Dynasty and other documents ,the basic overview of the Manchu Gūwalgiya was investigated ,and then deeds of several representative figures in Fiongdon ’ s family were researched .
