The“vulgarity”in the eyes of the so-called“genteel”actually restores the truth that human beings are only part of the animal world, which is the objective and true reflection of the human na-ture,He weakens the overwhelming role of human beings in the world by doing this. Those who criti-cized him obviously neglect the fact that Steinbeck is both an writer and an amateur marine ecologist.
Objective To study the influence of mentation on ICU patients with consciousness by Beck′s cognitive therapy ( BCI) .Methods A total of 486 lucid patients, who hospitalized to ICU from May 2012 to May 2014, were divided into experimental group (routine nursing and BCI) and control group (routing nursing) on average by random number table.Mentation of patients had been assessed by SAS, BDI-Ⅱand SCL-90 before and after two weeks intervention to compare the improvement of mentation in two groups. Results Before intervention, the patients in two groups acquired beyond critical value of SAS, BDI-Ⅱ and SCL-90, but the scores of SAS, BDI-Ⅱand SCL-90 were (29.97 ±6.45),(11.49 ±7.27) and (123.95 ±32.11) in the experimental group lower than those in the control group after intervention ( t=-23.01,-37.24,-9.74, respectively;P<0.01) .Conclusions The utilization of BCI for ICU lucid patients can improve the cognition of patients and benefits diseases′treatment.
