However,scattered records can hardly reflect an o-verall recognition. The paper examines the combination in three layers:firstly,“meaning”and“rite”are i-dentical,secondly,they show some differences,including Sha Li,Feng Li and generating“rites”for express-ing specific meanings;finally,“meaning”has not any kind of“rites”. Three layers all represent the opera-tion of“rule of ceremony”,illustrating sufficiently the internal connotations. The analysis on combination of“rite”and“meaning”contributes to grasping the overall operation rules.
